I recently purchased myself a Winchester SXP Waterfowl for some pigeon shooting and hopefully some duck shooting this year. I have had the gun out now on a number of really quite successful pigeon shoots.

This gun is a brilliant sub £400 gun, dipped Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Blades camo, back-bored, Invector Plus chokes, hard chrome barrel and chamber, TRUGLO front fibre optic and much more.

The SXP is considered one of the most reliable pump action shotguns ever made. It is based on the proven Winchester designs that have been evolved over half a century of design and manufacture. Its unique rotary bolt action design allows the action to be pumped with virtually no hesitation, after the point of firing the gun half pumps back this allows you to eject the cartridge quickly and load the next one for a speedy followup.

I’m loving this gun, Winchester have made a great product! It’s easy to clean, not that you really need to. It handles nice in the hide and I think will be brilliant on ducks in the coming season. I will be using this gun for the majority of my shooting this year.
